Philly – Minus the Cheese – Steak


  • 3 lbs beef round steak, cut into strips
  • 2 medium green bell peppers, sliced thin
  • 2 medium yellow onions, sliced thin
  • 1 – 14oz can beef broth, use can to fill with water to add 14 oz of water to pot
  • 1 envelope Italian dressing mix


  1. Spray Crock Pot with cooking spray
  2. Place meat into Crock Pot
  3. Add green bell pepper, onion, broth, water, and dressing mix
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7 – 8 hours
  5. Most philly cheese steak recipes call for French bread and provolone cheese. To cut carbohydrates and fat, we eliminated them and enjoyed the meal without
