Teriyaki Chicken with Rice & Veggies

This recipe may seem ‘bland’ but it is delicious and easy to make.

  • Half a bottle (12-15oz) of Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce (original or Garlic & Green Onion flavor)
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice (3 cups cooked)
  • 1 pkg frozen stir fry veggies

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a gallon size zip-lock baggie and add the Teriyaki Sauce to the bag as well. Seal it, and store in the fridge for a few hours to marinate
  2. When you are ready to prepare the meal, cook the rice according to the package, and in another container cook the vegetables
  3. Add the rice into a bowl, then the veggies
  4. Cook the chicken on the grill. For tips on how to cook your chicken breasts, follow these great tips: Serious Eats
  5. Once chicken is cooked all the way through, slice it into bite size pieces and put it on top of the rice/veggie mix
  6. Guten Appetit!

Always check the temp of your chicken, it may look cooked, but it may still be raw in the middle.

About Us
This blog is brought to you by Dan & Kyla. Both of us are dedicated to eating as healthy as possible, working out, being active, and challenging ourselves to experience everything life has to offer. Our Sunday 'prep day' has helped us grow closer as a couple and has allowed us to enjoy our seldom 'cheat days' to the fullest. Friends and family have always had questions about our weekly rituals and recipes so we thought we would share how we go week to week, finding recipes, cooking our meals, and managing our busy lifestyle with a health conscience view. This is the first blog we have created together and will hopefully get progressively better with our posts and feedback. Please feel free to post any comments or questions about a recipe, or ideas on how to make the recipe or website better. Most of all we hope you enjoy what we have to share. Guten Appetit!
