Pulled Pork BLT + Pickles


What goes int he Crockpot:

  • 3 LB Pork Butt
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

For the Sandwich:

  • A special bread – like ciabatta or brioche
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Package of bacon, crispy, 3 pieces for each sandwich
  • Mayo, spread on
  • Dill pickles



  1. Put the entire pork butt into the crock pot
  2. Add the diced onion
  3. Add the seasonings
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours
  5. Shred pork, and the put crock pot on warm for 1 hour while you prepare your bacon and rest of the sandwich
  6. Line a baking sheet with foil and turn your oven on to 425 degrees
  7. Add bacon to the baking sheet and put it in the oven and bake until crispy
  8. Take your bread, toast it, spread some mayo on both sides
  9. Add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, pulled pork and crispy bacon to the sandwhich
  10. Guten Appetit!
