Naked Slaw Taco


  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bag broccoli slaw (found in the produce dept)
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers of any color, chopped
  • 1 piece of celery, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2LBS ground turkey
  • 1LB ground beef
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium sized can of diced green chilies (estimating 6oz maybe)
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 3 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • Cilantro, as garnish, chopped


  1. Saute broccoli slaw, onions, bell pepper, celery, and garlic in 1 Tbsp olive oil for 8-10 minutes. 
  2. In a separate pot, add 1 Tbsp olive oil and ground meat
  3. Brown the meat, then add tomatoes, green chilies, and spices, stir to combine
  4. Add a little water if needed
  5. Drain grease from meat
  6. Assemble bowls – Put a layer of veggies, top with meat sauce the top with cilantro
  7. Guten Appetit!
