Week of October 21

After two weekends of being busy, we decided to stay in and be home-bodies pretty much all weekend. The only thing on our agenda was on Saturday Dan competed in the CrossFit South Denver Bears Charity for Kids competition and placed third while Kyla volunteered to take photos for it. The gym raised over $1,000 and at the end of the day Clark – the owner of CrossFit South Denver and Juli from PaleOMG had a burpee challenge and had to face off doing 101 burpees. Juli finished her burpees first and with that, Clark had to donate an extra $100 to the charity. It was a fun day and everyone who competed did great. We saw a 2:14 ‘Fran’ WOD, and two competitors Push Jerked 315lbs (Dan being one of them).

Bratwurst & German Sauerkraut (Bohemian Style)
