Week of September 22

Three years is a long time, but it has been great. Dan and I have been together now for three years and we couldn’t be happier. We celebrated with a night in Vail, CO at the Vail Cascade Resort and indulged in massages, naps, wine in bed and stuffed bellies with pizza from Pazzos, and a great breakfast from Westside Cafe. We would highly recommend both.

On a more serious note- the week prior; Colorado got so much rain many towns were affected, roads were closed and a lot of people lost their homes and many of their precious belongings. Although we were not personally affected by the storm we would like everyone to know that there are ways to help. And thank you in advance.

We made two new meals this week that we hadn’t tried and they were both successful. As for dinner, the recipes will not be posted because all we did was get some sort of protein (in this case, brats & steaks) and grilled them with very minimal spices and paired them with a vegetable. Guten Appetit!

Dan: Egg Sandwich, Whey Protein Shake

Kyla: 2 Hard Boiled Eggs, Americano

Noosa Yoghurt

Apple & Almond Butter

White Bean Ham Soup

About Us
This blog is brought to you by Dan & Kyla. Both of us are dedicated to eating as healthy as possible, working out, being active, and challenging ourselves to experience everything life has to offer. Our Sunday 'prep day' has helped us grow closer as a couple and has allowed us to enjoy our seldom 'cheat days' to the fullest. Friends and family have always had questions about our weekly rituals and recipes so we thought we would share how we go week to week, finding recipes, cooking our meals, and managing our busy lifestyle with a health conscience view. This is the first blog we have created together and will hopefully get progressively better with our posts and feedback. Please feel free to post any comments or questions about a recipe, or ideas on how to make the recipe or website better. Most of all we hope you enjoy what we have to share. Guten Appetit!
