Crock Pot Beef & Pork Spare Ribs


  • 1 – 2 lbs beef chuck bonelss short ribs
  • 1 – 2 lbs pork shoulder country style ribs
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 – 7 oz can tomato paste
  • 4 oz can of diced green chiles
  • 4 oz tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp onion powder
  • Dash of paprika
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


  1. Pour the beef broth and 1 cup of water into the crock pot
  2. Add in all of the spices (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper) and mix around
  3. Add the spare ribs to the crock pot
  4. Pour the tomato sauce, the tomato paste, and the green chiles on top of the spare ribs
  5. Surround the meat with the diced yellow onions along the sides of the crock pot
  6. Cover and let cook on low for 6 – 8 hours
  7. You will know the meal is ready when the meat is falling off the bone. When this happens remove the bones from the cock pot and throw away
  8. Guten Appetit!
