CrockPot Pork Green Chili Soup


  • 3-4 lbs pork roast
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 14 oz can diced green chilies
  • 2 Anaheim chilies, seeds removed and chopped
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 – 8oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 – 8oz can black beans
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp cumin


  1. Place the pork roast in the crockpot and place all of the veggies around it
  2. Pour the green chilies and tomatoes over the pork
  3. Toss in all the spices on top
  4. Pour the beef broth in the crockpot
  5. Add the can of black beans
  6. Turn the crockpot on low and cook for 6 – 8 hours
  7. Once the time has elapsed, shred the pork and stir around all of the ingredients
  8. Guten Appetit!
