Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 yellow onions, sliced
  • 6 bell peppers (any color, but mix it up), sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Store Brand Fajita Seasoning
  • 8 steaks (any preferred cut)
  • Spices for seasoning the steaks:
    1. Ground Cumin Seed
    2. Oregano
    3. Salt
    4. Pepper
    5. Chili Powder
    6. Garlic Powder

Directions

  1. Season the steaks to your taste using equal amounts of cumin, oregano, chili power, pepper and garlic powder with a dash of salt
  2. Heat the grill up 300°F – 350°F
  3. Grill the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side on medium-low heat, only flipping them once
  4. Turn the grill off, but let them sit there for 2 more minutes, and then transfer to a plate/pan and bring inside
  5. In a 8oz pot, heat up the extra virgin olive oil and then add in the onions and saute for 8 minutes to allow them to become soft
  6. Add in the bell peppers and the fajita seasoning and stir. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally or until peppers are soft
  7. While the peppers and onions are cooking, use this time to slice your steaks. Cut them into long slices
  8. Combine all of the ingredients once peppers and onions are done cooking and the steak is sliced
  9. Guten Appetit!
